The Loft is a bar and kitchen located in Birmingham's Southside.
Located on Witton Lane in Aston, near Villa Park (home of Aston Villa FC) is the former Aston Manor Tramway Depot. Was the home of the Aston Manor Transport Museum until 2011.
This building on Witton Road in Aston, was built as the Pavilion Electric Theatre in 1911. But it closed as a cinema in 1915 never to reopen. But later became a social and snooker club.
Birchfield Gospel Hall is located on the Trinity Road in Aston, Birmingham. Was registered as a place of worship in 1897, and was open in 1957.
Face to Face is a sculpture near Park Circus in Aston and on an island at Waterlinks Boulevard, it can be seen from the Aston Expressway. Made by Ray Smith in 1993.
Aston Community Fire Station is on Ettington Road, with the rear on Prestbury Road in Aston, Birmingham. Aston Library is now located here. The fire station was built in 1923.
The Aston Hotel was a public house built to the designs of James & Lister Lea from 1909 to 1911, close to Villa Park home of Aston Villa FC. The pub closed down by 2018.
Prince Albert Primary School is on Whitehead Road in Aston. Built from 1880-81 by architect Edward Holmes. Extended in 1885 and 1891. Gothic style. Part of the Prince Albert Community Trust.
Titan St Georges Academy is on Prestbury Road in Aston. Their original building is on Ettington Road and Whitehead Road nearby, and was originally a Board School. A secondary school 11-16.
Here and Now is a Tim Tolkien sculpture public artwork located at Handsworth Park. Commissioned for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, there is a bench and figures.
The Pyramid Tower is by Veranda Stories and is part of the Handsworth Park Arts Trail. Visual artist Pauline Bailey, with the Women’s Sewing Group at Saathi House.
The Anchor is a 2015 sculpture by the artist Katie Sturridge and located in Handsworth Park Community Garden, part of the Handsworth Park Arts Trail near Holly Road.
The Sons of Rest Mosaic is located outside of the Handsworth Park Community Garden. Made by Claire Cotterill in 2018 on the centenary of the end of WW1.
Steel Pulse Revolution Album Cover Mural was painted in 2018 at the entrance to Handsworth Leisure Centre. It celebrated 50 years of Reggae. On the Handsworth Park Arts Trail.
